The virtual event will include updates from the Global Leaders Group (GLG) and the World Health Organization (WHO) on global efforts to combat Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR). The National Academies will also discuss their recent report about the long-term health and economic effects of AMR in the United States. Day two of the event will focus on addressing AMR in pandemic planning.
